Question 20.7:
What divrei Torah are posted to Usenet?

There are too many to mention. Many of these used to be posted to soc.culture.jewish; it is difficult to determine from the current noise in the unmoderated newsgroup whether they are still being posted there. There are a large number of traditional D'vrei Torah being posted to alt.religion.judaism.orthodox. The list changes so often, it cannot reasonably be maintained in the FAQ.

There are also a number of mailing lists available that provide divrei Torah on a regular basis. Check the sites mentioned in the list of mailing lists (Section 20.3) for appropriate lists.

The FAQ is a collection of documents that is an attempt to answer questions that are continually asked on the soc.culture.jewish family of newsgroups. It was written by cooperating laypeople from the various Judaic movements. You should not make any assumption as to accuracy and/or authoritativeness of the answers provided herein. In all cases, it is always best to consult a competent authority--your local rabbi is a good place to start.
