Question 12.14:
What do Jews hope/expect of the future?

Answer:

Traditional Jews hope for the arrival of the Messiah and the accompanying age. (See the above question on the Messiah.) Some liberal Jews reject the concept of a Messiah, but still hope that man will create the same type of moral world that the traditional Jews believe the arrival of the Messiah will usher in. Traditional Jews also expect the revival of the dead at the end of days along with G-d's presence manifested on Earth.
